The Women Wing of Christian Association of Nigeria (WOWICAN) Nasarawa State Chapter has commended the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC) for a well organized and a successful completion of the 2013 Christian Pilgrimage exercise. This was disclosed by the President of the Association Mrs. Lydia Attah during a courtesy visit to the NCPC Corporate Headquarters recently.
Mrs. Attah thanked the Executive Secretary for his selfless service to the country and the Association, she stressed that a lot of moral and spiritual value has been added to the lives of those who had the opportunity to participate in the 2013 pilgrimage.
The Leader of the delegation encouraged the NCPC boss to continually use his good offices to affect the lives of Christians positively and not to relent in his support to the Association, in her words “you have indeed put smiles on our faces and we will always remain grateful”.
In his remarks, the Secretary of the Nasarawa State Christian Pilgrim Welfare Board, Mr. Clement Ali thanked the Executive Secretary of NCPC for his sensitization visit to the state he said, “Your visit to our state has opened more doors to us and has brought us to lime light”. He prayed that God will take NCPC to greater heights.
In his response, the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, Mr. John Kennedy Opara thanked the Association for their visit and urged them to keep watering their relationship with God. According to him “it is the basis of our existence on earth”.
He promised to always support the Association hence he assured them of his unflinching assistance to the women body.
