NCPC BOSS HONOURED WITH LIFE PATRON AWARD

d128142c-0c05-4c02-8ad5-a717bd9a480c

 Abuja, Nigeria - November 5, 2025

The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, Bishop Stephen Adegbite, has been honoured with a Life Patron award by the National APC Christian Leaders Forum of Nigeria.

The investiture ceremony was held at NCPC Corporate Headquarters in Abuja on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, during a courtesy visit by the Executive members of the association.

In his remarks, Bishop Adegbite stressed that Nigeria would not be an abandoned project, describing the country as the best nation on the planet. He maintained that the Church and the Government have harmonious relationships and are intertwined.

Bishop Adegbite reaffirmed that President Bola Tinubu is not a religious bigot, stating that he is the best President Nigeria has ever had. He reiterated that Nigeria must work and the dividends of the Renewed Hope Agenda of the Government must be realized.

He debunked insinuations of Christian genocide in Nigeria, saying, "There is no Christian genocide in Nigeria."

The NCPC helmsman charged the APC Christian Leaders to work with the Commission and the Church, stating, "We are the light of the world."

Bishop Adegbite also praised the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, describing her as a strong pillar for Mr. President and the First ordained Minister of God to occupy the exalted office. He said she has continued to be the beacon of hope for many and a champion of prosperity for all.

Earlier, the President of the National APC Christian Leaders Forum of Nigeria, Prof. Abraham Olarewaju, represented by his Director of National Planning and Strategy, Dr. Babalola Emmanuel, said the association was established in 2019 to coordinate Christians for the All Progressive Congress across the states and Local Government Areas for massive grassroots support.

According to him, each state has a structure officially recognized as a support body. He explained that the days of disinterest on the part of Christians in politics is gone and all hands must be on deck to support APC because, "after the power of God, the next power is political power".

The President urged the NCPC boss to support their cause and solicited his blessings.
