BE THE CHANGE YOU DESIRE- NCPC BOSS CHARGES PILGRIMS

2014 NCPC FEDERAL GOVERNMENT DELEGATION AT NNAMDI AZIKIWE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT ABUJA

The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission (NCPC), Mr. John Kennedy Opara has charged 323 intending pilgrims from Plateau State who travelled with members of the Federal Government delegation to Israel recently in Abuja to be the change they desired.

According to him “be good ambassadors of Nigeria in Israel and keep in mind that people will judge from your actions. ’’Adding that the Commission placed emphasis on pilgrimage as a Tool for Moral and Spiritual Transformation.

He urged the Pilgrims to pray for Nigeria, in the words of the NCPC boss ‘’we are heading  into an election year, pray that the country may be one and pray for the President to continue to lead this nation well’’.

The NCPC helmsman encouraged all pilgrims to follow the rules, be security conscious and pray daily throughout their stay in Israel.

In his speech, the Senate Leader, Senator Ndoma Egba, wished all pilgrims a fruitful encounter in Israel and encouraged them to pray for our country so that we can overcome our challenges at this phase of our development.

He reminded pilgrims that pilgrimage was a spiritual exercise and as such they should conduct themselves well, not abuse or misuse the opportunity they have while in the Holy Land. He posited that the impression they give in Israel is what the people will keep.

Senator Ndoma Egba advised pilgrims to be agent of transformation.

The Leader of the Federal Government Delegation, His Royal Highness, Eze Reginald Amadi, thanked God for the lives of the President, the Executive Secretary and the entire Pilgrims. He enjoined everyone to pray for the Nation and the President so that God will continue to direct the affairs of our nation.

The Members of the Federal Government delegation are going to Israel for oversight functions.
