The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), Mr. John Kennedy Opara has reaffirmed the need for the Commission to partner with the Nigerian Institute of Management Chartered (NIM). He disclosed this recently in Abuja while playing host to the Executive Members of NIM Northern region. His words: “you have come to reaffirm the need for us to partner together, especially in this era of transformation and human management.
Mr. Opara stressed that the Commission had imbibed some of the tenets of the Institute by coming up with its own core values of Integrity, Commitment, Team Spirit and Synergy as well as Professional excellence.
He intimated the Chartered Managers that the Commission was using Pilgrimage as a Tool for Moral and Spiritual Transformation. He commended NIM for their wonderful programmes which are critical to the Transformation Agenda of the present Administration
Earlier, Dr.Raymond Ihenacho the Regional Coordinator North stated that NIM needs people like you”, because we want to transform this nation”. He added, “What we are doing is to show solidarity for an organization like this. He described the NCPC boss as a man of integrity.
He extolled the giant strides of Mr. Opara which he said was made possible because God was on his side.
He informed the NCPC helmsman that the Chairman and President of Council of NIM would be paying his first official visit to this zone between 28th-29th of April and would want to visit some key Agencies of Government in Abuja.
Consequently, he stated that “as one of the highly esteemed Public Servant and Achiever, we will need to seek your moral and whatever support you can give us to make the President’s visit a huge success”.
