The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC) Mr. John Kennedy Opara has awarded the best of the best and well deserving Staff for the year 2014 with awards of excellence during the 2015 Staff and Board Retreat held recently at Goshen City Nasarawa State.
The first category of the award was the most committed Staff of the year 2014 and the best Zonal Coordinator and the award went to Mr. Ben Okoh of South West Zonal Office.
The NCPC boss commended Mr. Okoh for how he coordinated the 2014 Christian Pilgrimage activities in the South West zone, he added that the NCPC Staff in the South West in 2014, worked together in oneness and unity, according to him, “the South West Zone has exhibited our core valueS of team spirit and synergy that we have been preaching”.
The second category of the award was the most creative staff of the year, Amauche Nwuko of the South West Zonal Office bagged the award of most creative staff in 2014. The NCPC helmsman stressed that Miss Amuche Nwuko had brought creative ideas into the Commission’s pilgrimage activities last year.
The third category of the award was the most dedicated Staff, which went to Mr. Amos Adamu a driver in the Commission, Mr. Opara explained that Mr. Amos Adamu had worked selflessly as a driver attached to the Executive Secretary and very dedicated to his duty.
The NCPC boss said that the ES annual award is to encourage hard working and dedicated staff for their commitment to duty and selfless service to the Commission.
Mr. Opara explained that he has set up a Board of Trustee led by Professor Sam Ale who will be in charge of subsequent ES award. He further explained that his decision to use people outside the Commission to be in charge of the ES annual award is to ensure transparency and integrity in the process.
